This year's tournament will be an important test case before the World Cup in Germany, starting May 7. As the LG Hockey Games is so close to the World Cup means that all participating teams will be playing with their World Cup teams. A feast for all hockey fans out there!

about euro hockey tour
Euro Hockey Tour consists of Czech Hockey Games, Karjala Tournament, Channel One Cup and LG Hockey Games.
Participating nations are Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic and Russia. Sweden's team Tre Kronor tops the winners list with ten wins, five second placements and two third placements. Finland has won four times and has two second placements and four third placements.

The first World Cup match in Germany is USA - Germany. Tre Kronor (Sweden) plays the first match VS Norway on May 9.
