More about Jethro Tull

In the late 1960’s a few optimistic musicians gathered in Luton. With an eternal love for blues music as a base, Jethro Tull is formed. A tight group, popular on the pubs in southern England, that fast came to move on the big stages of London.

The band’s second album ”Stand Up” opened the doors to England as well as to international arenas. The following albums ”Benefit”, ”Aqualung” and ”Thick as a Brick” made great success throughout the world. Jethro Tull found their own path next to bands like Led Zeppelin, mixing rock music and British folk music. Ian Andersson with his flute has become yet another signature of Jethro Tull.
