2012 IIHF World Championship

The 2012 IIHF World Championship is shared between Sweden and Finland. Tickets to single matches on sale now!

Price reduction to Sweden's matches!

Svenska Ishockeyförbundet (organizer) has lowered the ticket prices on the shortsides of level A to all of Sweden's matches, starting 5 May. Tickets in these categories, purchased earlier at the higher price, will be compensated with tickets to other matches. For further information, please contact the organizer at Tel. +47 8 600 73 53 with your match request, together with your booking number. 

Tickets to the single matches

The tickets for the single matches are on sale; ten tickets maximum/customer or SEK 7500/purchase. Only direct payment via the Internet. (Please click the yellow buy-button to view the correct ticket prices)
The bookings may only be picked up at  a Ticnet-agent (not at ATG agents).

Open practice - Tre Kronor!

The public is invited on two occasions to watch Tre Kronor practice at Hovet, entrance free. The dates are:
  • 6 May between 12.30-13.30 - Hovet's entrances 18 & 19 open from 12.15
  • 10 May between 13.30-14.30 - Hovet's entrances 18 & 19 open from 13.15.

Before your visit

All entrances open from 1,5 hour prior to the first match of the day. The arena and its foyers will be evacuated in between matches and the entries re-opened before the next match. Storage for smaller items by entrance 2, no cloakroom available.
The Fan Zone in the events area stays open from 1,5 hour prior to the first match of the day and until 20.30 at night, with souvenirs, competitions and bars For information on bars and restaurants in the arena, please visit our Food & drink pages.
Smoking areas outside entrance 6 and on The Terrace on level B (above entrance 2).   

2012 IIHF world championship

At the 2012 IIHF World Championship there will be two groups with eight teams in each group. Sweden's group play matches will be played at at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.

Finland's group play matches are equally obvious played at Hartwall Areena, Helsinki. The remaining teams in each group will be determined during the World Championship in Slovakia.

If Sweden's Tre Kronor makes it to the quarterfinal, this match will also be played at Ericsson Globe. The semifinal and the medal matches will be played in Helsinki.

Sweden last hosted the Ice hockey World Championship in Gothenburg in 2002.
