Hovet

Welcome to a real multi-arena! Hovet is in fact one of Sweden's oldest and largest arenas, where just as much hockey as music is being played.

Hovet was during the 1920's a sport facility called Johanneshov's Sport Arena. In 1962 the Johanneshov Ice Stadium was newly inaugurated, as Sweden's largest indoor rink for ice hockey. As recently as 2002, Hovet was treated to an extensive face-lift and it is today a multi-arena used for sports, concerts and company events.

It is easy to get to Hovet by taking the metro, by bus or by car. A garage is available for those who choose to drive to the event and it is a good idea to get there in good time prior to popular events.

Stockholmsarenan under byggnation

The construction of Stockholmsarenan has begun. During the construction period, fewer parking spaces will be available in the events area. More changes in the traffic will be made. Our recommendation for all that have the possibility: use public transportation when visiting the events area.

Parking at the Globe City

There are 1,500 parking spaces are available within the area, divided into two indoor garages with a modern, supervised parking and gate system.

There are a total of 9 entrances and 1 entrance for the disabled. You can choose whichever entrance you want to, however that entrance shown on your ticket will be closer to your seat in the arena.

Please note that there is no smoking allowed inside the arena, there are areas for smoking outside.

There is no ATM available at Hovet.

Warm up before the event! Two hours before the event starts we invite you to mingle with other fans and getting into the right mood. Read more here! 

Restaurants and cafés

Hovet has one restaurant, Hovstallet. There are also bars, two fast-food cafés and many kiosks which offer a little of everything as well as hot and cold drinks.  

cloakrooms and facilities

There are cloakrooms available at all entrances with the exception of during national division hockey games and premiere league games.  

There is no specific baby carriage parking, however our event hosts will show you to a space designated for the baby carriage during the event. 

There are eight toilet units available at Hovet for women respectively men. Two toilets for disabled persons are located on each short side, where there is also a diaper changing station.

Hovet and Ericsson Globe are home arenas for the two Stocholm ice hockey teams Djurgården and AIK.
