What are the age restrictions at Stockholm Globe Arenas?
The age limits for our visitors vary depending on the occasion.
Guidelines regarding "Age limit 13 years"
In order to meet the demands of the Swedish Social Board, several event organisers have adopted an age limit of 13 years minimum at their events.
At such events, the ticket is provided with informational text. The age limit applies also in the company of an adult.
The Social Board (The Environmental Board) demands that if children under the age of 13 are allowed in the arena, the sound level must not exceed 97 dBa equivalent. Most artists, pop- & rockbands believe that, given these conditions, they will not be able to recreate their music live as intended. The organiser has therefore found it necessary to introduce a general age limit of 13 years. The organisers regret this, but see no other solution to this matter.
There is no mandatory ID check made by the event organiser, as most 13-year-olds don't have an ID card. It is fine if the person brings a parent or guardian that can attest the age.
The event organiser has the right to stop a person from entering the arena in case it is obvious that the person is under age and no one present can attest the age.
It's also important to use ear protection at events with high sound levels. Ear plugs are on sale by the arena. Other types of ear protection is each visitor's own responsibility to bring.
