This is SkyView

Prepare yourself for shivering kneecaps and sweaty palms!

SkyView consists of two glass gondolas, which can each carry 16 people. The gondolas travel up two sets of rails on the outside of the Ericsson Globe all the way to the top, 130 metres above sea level.

Please arrive ten minutes prior to the departure time given on your ticket. The SkyView visit takes approx. 30 minutes, tour included. There are also several drop-in tours available every day for all that have not pre-booked, according to the "the early bird gets the worm" principle. Drop-in spots are released for sale as we open in the morning and may only be booked in our service center. After the tour you are welcome to visit our souvenir shop, adjacent to the gondolas.

  • The Ericsson Globe has been reinforced with 70 tons of steel that has been put together by mountain climbers
  • The rail weighs 42 ton, that’s almost 93 000 pounds
  • The gondolas are built by ski lift builders in north of Sweden
  • each ride takes 20 minutes
  • The gondols depart six times per hour

In addition to the SkyView ride you can combine the trip with a guided tour of the Ericsson Globe itself, or why not take the time to enjoy a delicious lunch in our excellent restaurant! Current tour information here!
